04.14.07 Girls Lacrosse

Portsmouth 11, St. Thomas 10: Sam Whitney led Portsmouth with three goals. Hannah Khin and Alie Marousek added two apiece. Eva Malone, Maia Schierberl, Britt Conway and Callie Aspinwall also scored for the Clippers. Goalie Lyndol Senf made 14 saves.

04.14.07 Girls Track

Hillsboro-Deering won its opening meet at Campbell with 94 points. Jessica Wayashe was the top scorer for H-D, winning both the 100 and 200 and taking third in the long jump. The Hillcats had four other individual winners as well. Alycia Steelman won the discus with a toss of 79-9½, Hillary Picknell won the 100 hurdles, Catherine Joyner won the 3,200 and Amber Kelly captured the triple jump.

04.10.07 Girls Lacrosse

Merrimack Valley 12, Derryfield 9: Kortnie Winters paced MV with four goals. Danielle Cate contributed three goals, Lindsey McCoo finished with two goals and two assists, Laura Egounis tallied two goals, and Laurynn Chalifour added a single goal for the Pride. Julia Jones had nine saves for MV.

04.09.07 Girls Tennis

Portsmouth 9, Pembroke 0: Taylor Barnes, Laurel Adams, Alyx Barnes, Anna Levenson, Rebecca Risman and Victoria Vinciguerra all had singles victories for Portsmouth. T. Barnes/Risman, A. Barnes/Levenson and Vinciguerra/Adams teamed to win in doubles

Bow 9, Bishop Brady 0: Katharine Rose, Mariah Leven, Jordan Card, Katie Foy, Morgan Seney and Stephanie Carlson swept the singles for the Falcons. In doubles Rose and Leven, Foy and Seney, and Card anc Carlson won for Bow.

04.03.07 Track

Kearsarge girls' track team opened the season with a win on the road. The Cougars finished with 118 points, 10 ahead of host Souhegan. Pembroke was third with 27. Caroline Forgel (800 meters and triple jump), Chelsey Laughinghouse (200), Jen Brayshaw (300 hurdles), Kyanne Sager (high jump), Jillian Corley (3,200) and Liz Jenna (javelin) all took firsts for Kearsarge.
