05.31.06 SoftballConcord blanked Keene, 6-0. Becky Hoidahl threw a perfect game for the Tide, setting down all 21 batters. The first of her 10 strikeouts broke the school's career record of 381. Jill Schaffer led Concord with a two-run double while Nicole Gladieux added two hits for two RBI.
Exeter shutout Londonderry, 2-0. Ashley Clark pitched a six-hit shutout, walking one and fanning seven. Courtney Savoie drove in two seventh inning runs with a single. Annie Heaney (double) and Sydney Hagen (walk) both scored.
Manchester Memorial edged Spaulding, 4-3. Sara Murray allowed four hits, struck out six and walked one to record the victory. Kelsey Isham legged out a bunt single in the bottom of the seventh to ignite a two-run rally that lifted s Memorial past Spaulding.
Pinkerton beat Goffstown, 1-0. Alexis Souhlaris pitched a complete game four-hitter with no walks. Heather Lewis had two hits and drove in Sara Boss for the winning run.
Merrimack topped Nashua North, 3-0. Molly Martel pitched a two-hitter and struck out five for the complete-game win. Stephanie Halvatzes had two hits and Lisa Ruggiero tripled and scored on a passed ball for Merrimack.
ConVal slipped past Lebanon, 3-2. Nicole Whitney struck out 12 and allowed six hits to earn the complete-game win. Heather Vaillancourt scored the winning run. 05.30.06 Boys LacrosseExeter ran past Manchester West, 18-2. Christian Wright scored four goals to power Exeter. Chris Martyn contributed a hat trick and Dan Leary and Jesse Wright added two goals apiece for the Blue Hawks. Alex James, Nate Duff, Evan Douglass, Troy Wilcox, Knox and Harry Johnson also scored.
Souhegan beat Keene, 13-7. Tom McLaurin scored four goals and one assist to lead the Sabers. Joe Giarusso added three goals and one assist, Richie Reddy tallied twice while Alex Lane (assist), Mike Brundage, Sean Jellison, and Dan O’Brien each had one goal.
Londonderry topped Manchester Central, 7-5. Justin Sproul led the Lancers with three goals. Matt Magee, Brian O’Malley, Mike Lasalle and Tom Garside contributed single tallies and Chris Stringfellow made 10 saves.
Hanover defeated Salem, 19-4. Grady Chaltain paced Hanover with four goals and three assists. Duncan Holley, Mike Peiffer and Andrew Hathaway added two goals each for the winners. 05.30.06 Girls LacrosseExeter walloped Manchester Central, 19-3. Kendall Dziama and Geraldine Hansell led Exeter with four goals apiece. Emalyn Hiney, Amanda Swiezynski and Anne Lawless added three each, while Kelsey Clark and Trenny Smith both scored once.
Bishop Guertin defeated Merrimack, 15-8. Christina Peterson led BG with four goals, while Taylor McKeown and Tricia Manzanero both bagged three. Jenna Daigle and Jen Wingate contributed two each for Merrimack.
Londonderry ran past Keene, 19-5. Kayla Green had three goals and five assists to power the Lancers. Kerry Thompson added four goals and an assist and Kayla McQuarrie tallied four goals and two assists for Londonderry. Brianne Dickerson contributed a hat trick while Kaeliegh Lannan (two assists) and Alyssa Nichols both had two goals.
Salem defeated Manchester Memorial, 17-1. Kristin Fraser and Colleen Wilson led Salem with three goals each. Afton Marshall and Kyleigh Keating added two goals apiece and Cassie Abel scored once.
Oyster River outscored Somersworth, 13-3. Jacqueline Ayers scored three goals to lead OR. Tay Ackerman, Michelle Carruthers and Hannah Long each contributed two for the Bobcats.
Laconia beat Pelham, 16-3. Rebecca Yerkes paced Laconia with five goals. Alisha Crete added three while Meg Salta and Mika Glines chipped in with two each. 05.30.06 Boys TennisHanover blanked Souhegan, 6-0. Hanover received singles victories from Tyler Anderson, Sam Niles, Lukas Dahlstrom, Jory Kahan, Alex Kelley and Nat Shapiro.
