09.30.05 Football

Freshman QB K.C. Hobson threw the game winning touchdown late in the fourth quarter as the Nashua North Titans edged Manchester West. Brad Masseur scored the first TD for the undefeated Titans. Nathan Cook had 94 yards on 29 carries for West.

Greg McDonough tallied 139 yards and three touchdowns as Merrimack rolled past Portsmouth 42-13. Tomahawk QB Damian Tacito threw for 151 yards and two touchdowns.

Dan Prunier rushed for 127 yards, scoring three touchdowns, as Bishop Guertin beat Winnacunnet 24-14.

Casey Potter?s third quarter touchdown was enough to lift Spaulding past Alvirne 13-12.

Jeremy Tufts recovered a fumble, scored a touchdown, and booted two field goals as Exeter remained undefeated, beating Timberlane 20-9. Taz Stewart tallied 105 yards rushing and Luke Boria had 121 yards on 22 carries for the Blue Hawks.

Manchester Central thumped Trinity 40-0. Cory Wright had 11 carries for 123 yards and two touchdowns as Central rolled over Trinity 40-0. Central quarterback Josh Raticak finished 12-for-19, good for 167 yards and two touchdowns.

Josh Daniels and Justin Starr each scored two touchdowns as Concord handled Memorial 41-7.

09.30.05 Girls Volleyball

Nashua North beat Nashua South 3-0. Monique Lajoie had three service points, five kills and 15 assists for the Titans, and Brittany Sullivan had 11 kills. Justine Goulart had eight kills and three blocks for the Panthers.

A 14 kill, four ace performance from Erin Flaherty lifted Hollis/Brookline past Laconia 3-0. Meg Flaherty had 14 service points and five kills.

Bronco Morgan Towle tallied her 100th kill on the season, but Exeter beat Alvirne 3-1.

Bridget O'Bryant and Katie Diggins combined for 22 kills as Merrimack edged Bishop Guertin 3-2. Aly Johnson notched 10 kills for the Cards.

09.30.05 Boys Soccer

Devin Quinn's 2 goals helped Souhegan beat John Stark 6-0. Eric Ferson added a goal and an assist for the Sabers.

09.30.05 Girls Soccer

Heather Brooks netted the game's only goal as Souhegan edged John Stark 1-0. Caroline Eriss assisted on the game winner.
