09.29.06 FootballPortsmouth 44, Kingswood 13: Portsmouth running back Rod Walker scored four touchdowns, ran for 115 yards and caught two passes for 32 yards. Reed Spiller scored on a 1-yard run in the second quarter and gained 39 yards on seven carries.
Bishop Brady 35, Pelham 10: Jordan Smith ended with 180 yards and two touchdowns on 31 carries and Ryan Spain collected 71 yards on 10 carries for Brady.
Timberlane 53, Merrimack 6: The Owls scored 46 unanswered points in the first half. James Dionne rushed for 135 yards and four touchdowns on just 10 carries during the opening half. Derek Furey collected 90 yards on seven carries in the first half, finishing with 114 yards.
Bishop Guertin 28, Alvirne 0: Ryan Burgess ran for 93 yards and a score and threw for 119 yards for BG. Alvirne QB Matt Palermo completed 11 of 20 for 84 yards.
