08.31.05 Boys Soccer

Milton shutout Lyndon, 5-0. Kory Holmes and Micah Rose each scored two goals for Milton. Josh Jewett also scored, while Tommy Gingras, Dan Cheney and Ben Bergeron added assists.

U-32 beat Randolph, 3-0. Anders Ostrum led U-32 with two goals. Chris Wong also scored and goalie Will Berry made three saves.

08.31.05 Girls Soccer

Mount St. Joseph shutout Poultney, 12-0. Kate Daley had six goals to pace MSJ. Liz Temple and Lindsay Terebesi had a goal and two assists each, while Alex Marcel, Madison Ackerman, Kasey Mann and Elizabeth Forte also scored.

Hartford defeated Windsor, 2-1. Alyssa Sabb and Mary Ann Durant scored for Hartford. Gabrielle Aube picked up an assist. Kelly Grace scored the Windsor goal with an assist from Elysie Korbet.

08.30.05 Boys Soccer

Proctor shutout Green Mountain, 3-0. Ben Stein had a goal and an assist for Proctor, Chad Thornton and Alex James also scored. Jeremy LaPan made 17 saves for Green Mountain.

Brattleboro and Rutland played to a 1-1 deadlock in double overtime. Ian Deyo scored for Brattleboro and Dominic Doenges scored Rutland?s goal with an assist from Pat Gilliam. Andrew Jenzer had nine saves for the Colonels and Ted Washburn stopped eight shots for the Raiders.

08.30.05 Boys Cross Country

Mount Anthony placed first at Equinox Pond with 20 points, in their opening meet of the year, having five finishers in the top seven. Burr and Burton finished in second with 47 points while Mill River finished third with 108. MAU's Steve Vargo took first in the individual race. Woody Roxon took third, Matt Houran took fourth, Derreck Eckhardt took fifth and Doug Amos took seventh.

Brattleboro started their season off with a win at home, scoring 30 points. Fair Haven was second with 35 and Bellows Falls was third with 56. Brattleboro's Jordan Peeples won the boys meet, teammates Dan Barile took second and Joe Kerlin-Smith third.
