Vanessa Powers added 12 points and eight rebounds and Betsy Martin scored nine points for the Trojans. Dustin Hendy added eight points for the Yellowjackets. Dillon O'Brien and Shawn Corbiere led Missisquoi with 11 points apiece. 01.21.08 Girls BasketballRutland 55, Brattleboro 43: Megan Blongy tallied 12 points to pace the Raiders. Kelsey Forte added 11, Liz Douglass scored nine and Alyssa Moore contributed eight points for Rutland. 01.21.08 Boys HockeyMount Mansfield 6, Montpelier 1: Brian Johnson led MMU with four goals. Chris Geissler added two goals for the Cougars while Erich Schwer (four assists) and Shawn Haskins (three assists) also contributed to the win. 01.12.08 Boys HockeyNorthfield 5, North Country 3: Tyler Goodrich all five goals for Northfield. Two of Goodrich's goals were unassisted and one short-handed. Northfield goalie Stefan Wuorinen made 17 saves.
